OnTheBeach Accommodation, a seaside lodging company in Port St Johns, wanted to revamp their website to improve user experience and increase bookings. They approached The Coup, to create a new design that would capture their fresh and vibrant beachy vibe while also being approachable to potential clients. The project included a complete website redesign with a focus on improving navigation, showcasing their accommodations, and highlighting local attractions to entice visitors to explore the area.
OnTheBeach Accommodation had an outdated website that was not user-friendly, and the company wanted to improve its online presence to attract more clients to book reservations and promote them to explore Port St Johns.
We were tasked to create a new website that was visually appealing and easy to navigate. Our first steps were to conduct market research to understand the target audience and competitor analysis to help create a design that stood out.
From this research, we developed a website redesign strategy that included a new colour palette inspired by the beach tones, updated imagery, and a clear and concise user interface. The new website also included an easy-to-use booking system that made it effortless for potential clients to book reservations. Our approach was to create a website that was both visually appealing and highly functional, resulting in an increase in online bookings and an overall improvement in the company's online presence.
